At Odyssey.online, we’re committed to developing web applications that
go beyond the limits of traditional software. Our engineering teams make use of new capabilities only available in modern, up-to-date browsers which also provide improved security and performance. Therefor Odyssey.online applications supports the following browsers.
- Google Chrome
- Internet Explorer/Edge (IE and Edge are treated as one and same or a group of browers). Temporarily we also support Internet Explorer 10 but this is subject to change in the near future.
We support the latest version of Google Chrome (which automatically updates whenever it detects that a new version of the browser is available), Firefox and Safari. We support the current and previous major releases of Internet Explorer/Edge on a rolling basis. Each time a new version is released, we begin supporting that version and stop supporting the third most recent version.
Virtual environments like Citrix® and VMware® may not fully support all of the functionality. For the best experience, use the browsers on your local computer.
Some or most of the features may be available in other or older versions of the named browsers depending on feature compatibility but no support is available.
Users of Internet Explorer 10 or older versions
Microsoft Edge browser was launched on November 12, 2015, and is planned to replace Internet Explorer as the default browser on Windows 10. As a result, we’ve discontinued support for Internet Explorer 10 (Internet Explorer 9) or older versions since Internet Explorer 11 is available Windows 7 and above. Organisations that depend on old versions of Internet Explorer may want to consider a dual browser strategy.
On mobile devices
We test and support the following browsers and operating systems.
- Android (phones/tablets) with Chrome browser
- iOS (iPhone/iPad) with Safari browser.
We support the current and previous major releases of iOS and Android on a rolling basis. Each time a new version is released, we begin supporting that version and stop supporting the third most recent version. On Android we test a selection of devices.
Android is used in many different devices from a verity of manufacturers and we cannot test all devices.
Some or most of the features may be available in other or older versions of the named OS and browsers depending on feature compatibility but no support is available.
